Attorney Laura was born and raised in Puerto Rico. In 2011, she graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree. By 2012, she was admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, for which she is authorized to practice as an Immigration Attorney throughout the United States before the Immigration Courts and the offices of U.S. Citizenship and Naturalization Services (USCIS).
Attorney Laura is the daughter of immigrant parents (Spanish father and Dominican mother), so she knew from a young age how complicated it is to navigate the United States immigration system. It was since then that she began her interest in helping the immigrant community. When she moved to California in 2015, she began working immigration cases, thus discovering her deep-rooted passion for helping the immigrant community in the United States.
Attorney Laura has been working exclusively with immigration cases since 2015. She has experience in deportation defense cases, political asylum, adjustment of status, cancellation of removal, family-based petitions, naturalization, DACA, visas, appeals, among others. The Attorney is committed to helping the immigrant community through competent, professional, and honest legal representation.
